- Happy birthday Human Reproduction! I had the honour of being an Associate Editor for the last four years, so I also feel like I'm also part of the history of this wonderful journal 🧪
- Human Reproduction turns 40! 🎉 We’re celebrating by revisiting landmark papers with commentaries from original authors. First up: Leese & Gardner revisit their 1989 study (Hardy et al., 1989 – doi.org/10.1093/humr...) with a new commentary (Leese & Gardner, 2026 – doi.org/10.1093/humr...).
- Reposted by Sandra LaurentinoHow? How do you double-check the accuracy, if you're not already an expert? Ask a different GenAI? Or do you, you know... Have to go and do the research you would have done anyway, pre-AI? Because I'm buggered if I can think of how you do that in a way where the GenAI saved you time.

It graded my heart health an F. ⁉️ Cardiologist @erictopol.bsky.social called it “baseless.” Any bot claiming to give health insights shouldn’t be this clueless. Even in beta. 🧵

- Reposted by Sandra LaurentinoHorrible idea. AI will regress all grants towards the mean since AI is trained to produce the average output. Grants require expertise that ignores bad literature and rejects author assertions if false. no AI review I've seen has ever challenged the author's assertions as fundamentally flawed.
