- I saw something unusual on the freeway today… police lights ahead of me that I assumed was a traffic stop. Cars ahead were slowing. I slowed down, changed lanes. As I passed the cop, I saw that he (she?) was following 3 kids on #ebikes! About 20 mph. Shepherding to the next exit, over a mile.

- 5th grader: I have a friend who tried to read that book and he told me one page had a swear word! He points to a short stack of books. “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Me: That’s why we aren’t reading it with 5th grade. (Well. One of several reasons.)
