We discovered a new attack on diffusion models that is more generalizable than Nightshade. It targets an entirely different part of AI training pipeline, basically making AI models poison themselves.

- Last year I needed a book idea, so I went to a site that randomized tropes to see what sparked. If you didn't know, I love tropes! I am Ms. Tropey McTropester. They're fun to read, fun to use...and even more fun to subvert. "Caught in the Rain" is what lit me up.
- Rust update! I did some stuff with vinegar, salt & hydrogen peroxide - look how pretty the rust is getting! Probably will do 1 more round before clearcoat. I'm taking the class again this fall! It'll be so fun to play with the CNC plasma cutter again... and hopefully develop actual welding skill!

- #MayWeDance Day 30 Well, as a self-pubbed author currently struggling to promote ARCs for my debut novel, my advice would be: Do Not Despair. Whether you go trad or indie, it is a long haul, and some days will be depressing AF. Keep writing and find a good supportive group chat.
- While I'm excited about my current WIP, I'm also excited that Monsoon is finally on the road to release! ARC signups going on now!
- #MayWeDance Day 29 They definitely achieve a Happily Ever After. I pay my HEA Tax! Though there are ways in which the central themes of the story make it less of a fairytale & more the beginning of a lifelong quest together. But they're committed & moving forward hand in hand with love and passion.
- #MayWeDance Day 28 When they first meet, Deirdre wants to rescue Samuel and hopes it will lead to justice. Over the course of their journey, they become lovers without much thought of or hope for the future. By the 3rd act, they each just want the other to be safe but would rather be safe together.
