- Based on past results, I am going to assume that no check is forthcoming.
- Comic book characters who do NOT need a new costume: Superman Batman Wonder Woman The Flash (Silver Age) Captain America Captain Marvel (Fawcett) Spider-Man Tigra Cloak & Dagger Daredevil (Golden Age post-Cole and Silver Age post-Wood) Dr. Doom
- Surely I can't be the ONLY one who noticed that the inside front cover of the second Superman/Spider-Man crossover was drawn by Frank Miller and Joe Sinnott.
- I can think of a few rapists, murderers, sex traffickers and child pedophiles who seem to be escaping punishment right now--and one of them is occupying the White House.
- Reposted by Erik LarsenIn 1946, cartoonist & illustrator Noel Sickles was sent by Life magazine to sketch the Nuremberg trials. Here is his sketch of the execution of Joachim Von Ribbentrop, who claimed at trial that his boss had made all of the important decisions, & that he was only following orders.
- Whoever pasted up the lettering on this job should be horsewhipped. All that empty space on the righthand side of the panel and they stuck the lettering on top of Spidey! I won't mention the uncolored mustache on the unconscious guy if you don't.

- NEW: Elon Musk has insisted that Jeffrey Epstein invited him to the notorious island and he declined. But new emails show the opposite -- Musk was practically begging to party with Epstein in the Caribbean, years after Epstein's sex convictions were public knowledge futurism.com/future-socie...

- Word has it that Savage Dragon 278 went on sale today.
- Well, shit. I never met Sal of even talked with him on the phone but we worked together briefly on the Defenders and I bought a ton of comics that he worked on over the years.

- So you're saying they can all file for wrongful termination and get unemployment?
- Not to be a noodge (while acknowledging that I’m perfectly capable of being a noodge) but there was a time when people pasting up covers would make the logo as big as possible so that readers could easily see it. I left plenty of room on this cover (see figure 2)! What happened?
- It seems this variant cover was revealed to the world, so I might as well share it here.
- That's a bad look SDCC.

- Reposted by Erik Larsen16 hours in, my guess this was all intended basically as a coup to put VP Delcy Rodriguez in power (likely without her knowledge but 🤷). At least for democracy & human rights, that might be even worse than the "opening shots in a war" scenario. All speculation, but let me explain:
- I've experimented with making the blue parts of Spider-Man's costume a solid black. You might think it makes things easier but it actually makes drawing him more complicated. There are certain poses that become indecipherable when limbs are overlapped or if he's over a dark background.
