- Knicks didn't lose y'day bc of Thibs. Short-handed on a b2b vs CLE w their key guys healthy is rough. Obviously need more from KAT+Mikal as well. But if you run 48 mins of drop, can't counter top locking, don't prioritize spacing, etc. even at full strength I don't think Thibs helps close the gap.

- Maybe a broken ATO as Kolek tells OG to cut baseline after the inbounds to Mikal, unclear where though as Giannis is already low man and in position to tag the roller with Hart filling the opposite corner. OG stays, so Kolek lifts instead, which creates space for Mikal to find OG for the corner 3.
- I'd be interested to see what Kolek could do running point with the good lineups rather than the ones with ISIS spacing
- I like that the Knicks have stayed at home on shooters for the most part and been willingly helping off of Dunn. One of their most disciplined defensive halves against a quality opponent. Didn't like not switching on that last possession though.
- Wouldn't mind seeing Kolek get a chance here to close the half. Payne has not done a good job of getting them into any offense since he came back into the game.
- Knicks were pretty lucky to survive that stretch to open the 2nd. Honestly may have been lucky in a way that Hart picked up his 3rd so early, because not sure the spacing with him, Precious, and Mitch on the floor would've been fun for anybody.

- Kolek hasn't proven he's able to be a consistent contributor yet, obviously, but fairly confident he can help out on nights vs the bottom feeders and depleted rosters which permeate a reg season. That helps your main rotation guys get rest and/or even bail them out on nights they don't have it!
