- Sorry to bring bad news this festive season but one of this year’s juvenile females X6F was found injured in Kibworth. It was taken to the vet and X-rays show that it had been shot with multiple wounds. The femur was shattered and could not be repaired. Consequently, she was euthanised.

An X-ray reveals no injuries or shotgun pellets, so now it this #peregrine falcon goes to DEFRA for examination. We're pretty confident that another female will show up on Derby Cathedral in the months ahead.
