- If this is true, then it's scary. When I was 18 months old, I nearly died from encephalitis that I contracted as a complication from chicken pox. It is >10 x more likely to occur with measles. GET YOUR CHILDREN VACCINATED, PEOPLE

- Top tip for when you have a long (daytime) layover in Melbourne... Woodlands Historic Park is 11 mins taxi drive from the airport, has a cafe, walking tracks, retired racehorses and lots of kangaroos! It's making our 9 hour layover much more pleasant!
