- Yeah, that seemed like an obvious target. Just like safety, I'm wondering how Falcons view their current LB lineup. Do they trust that Troy Andersen will be healthy full season and steps in beside Kaden Elliss, or do they think they need significant reinforcement there?
- Free agency is here and Atlanta already has started its cap shuffling. Now what? Spend bigger on CB (D.J. Reed?) than edge (Dayo Odeyingbo?) Or the reverse (Khalil Mack? Mike Hilton?)? Spend much at all? Is safety a big priority? Follow all week here: www.nytimes.com/athletic/618...
- This is probably not the first salary-cap shuffling move the Falcons will make. It's also an indication they believe the 11-year veteran Matthews has got multiple good years left. www.nytimes.com/athletic/618...

- The Falcons won't tender RFAs Dee Alford or Nate Landman. (DLed, who's not on Bluesky, first on both of these) Doesn't mean they won't return but decreases chances. However it works out, two UDFAs with great backstories who turned themselves into NFL starters. www.nytimes.com/athletic/516...
