- I'm not saying I'm turning into a Birder... but almost all the fancy black+white winter Mergansers have left the river as the ice has melted, and it's not warm enough for my double-crested Cormorants to have returned to their Summer fishing grounds. So yeah, I'm missing my birds!! 😠
- Having an office window that overlooks a river is honestly pretty wonderful. I brought up a little spotting scope somebody gave me so I can look at the river birds instead of actually working.
