- Reposted by Spud on a BikeHi everyone - it seems there’s been a targeted campaign against this plan for protected cycle lanes on Bayswater Road. If you look back through the consultation it had 400 negative responses in 24 hours 😨 Londoners on bikes, we’d love to hear from you in this. Please take a moment … 1/2
- ⏰⚠️⏰⚠️ ALERT! The Bayswater road consultation is under heavy threat despite the obvious benefits. The weekend saw 400+ responses and it's IMPERITIVE we show strong support ahead of the WEDS 28th DEADLINE. - Happy to see this crowdfunder work out in the end and see that @saveoursaferstreets.org won the appeal to stop the Tower Hamlets LTNs being ripped out! Let's hope the Mayor there gets the message 🤞🏼 www.crowdjustice.com/case/save-ou...
- Reposted by Spud on a BikeI do like this little scheme on Bayley St - just off Tottenham Court Rd. This was a signal controlled junction from a one-way street, contraflow cycling was added & then the junction filtered with a cycle track. Now it's a bike lane & a new public space with SuDS. 🚲☔️☘️💚
- Reposted by Spud on a BikeTaxis always maintained *access*, what they've done is allowed a taxi cut-through that ultimately reduces safety of pedestrians and cyclists in the junction. You can comment on City of London's Bank Junction taxi access trial here. bank-taxi.commonplace.is/en-GB/
- Reposted by Spud on a BikeThe irony in Ellson, Battaglino, Stewart, Stops etc demanding a small minor street literally called ‘King Henry’s Walk’ takes 12,000 daily cars from surrounding A-roads to make driving more convenient. Because that’s social environmental justice apparently. They really are crackers.

- TfL are consulting on increasing the congestion charge, and including electric vehicles (at a discounted rate). Tell them they should extend the CC hours to include the evenings again, as there's still way too much traffic and congestion after 6pm! haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/congestion-c...
- Also that increasing the charge by less than inflation will barely do anything. Including all vehicles (fossil fuel or not, they still contribute to traffic) is a good step though. It closes 4th August, hoping we can still get this improved.
