- Our annual Carol Service took place today, continuing one of Nuffield’s longest-standing traditions. The service was made especially meaningful by the voices of members of the College, who came together to sing a programme of traditional and much-loved carols.

- We were delighted to hear from Visiting Fellow Andrew Tyrie (Research Fellow 1990-1991) on the question of ‘How Should We Understand the UK Parliament’s Real Power?’ in a Q&A with our own Jane Green.
- Andrew drew on his wealth of experience as a former MP and current Member of the House of Lords to give us an insider’s perspective on UK political life and how to think more broadly about Parliament’s power. It was great to have students from Nuffield and across the University, as well as Alumni.

- We’re happy to see the Hubert Dalwood Flower Fountain back in the Nuffield quad today. It was quite an operation to reinstall the foundation after the renovation of the quads. The fountain, titled ‘Flower Fountain’ was a commissioned piece by Hubert Dalwood in 1962, part of Nuffield ever since.
