- Baking chocolate chip cookies with beer. They look a little toasty. Oops.
- Reposted by Shireen Anne JeejeebhoyI will be on Global Toronto tomorrow morning at 650 am ET. I'll be talking about Canada's Winter Olympic history and some unique facts from that history!
- The @toronto.ca sidewalk snow “clearing” reminds me of the 1980s’ approach when homeowners shovelled their own sections or not. When cleared sidewalks were seen as unimportant and we walked on top of sidewalk-banks. But the roads…when did flattening and shoving into piles become “clearing”? #SnowTO

- Watching a film on the professional art scene birth in India through the story of Kekoo and Khorshed Ghandy. On Vimeo. It’s password protected, otherwise I’d embed it in my Substack post on Monday’s class (yet to write). Makes me think of Canada’s burgeoning art scene decades earlier. #Zoroastrian
- Vera Wong’s Guide to Snooping (on a Dead Man). Jesse Q. Sutanto. 39%. I haven’t laughed so hard at a scene in a book since I read 🇨🇦 Donald Jack’s novels! The longer the scene went, the harder I laughed. I love brilliant humour writing like this. What the soul needs. #BookSky

- Wow. Glad I got my walk in already. Looks brutal out there. Wind blowing the snow sideways, whitening the air. So much for the forecasted 0cm @anthonyfarnell.bsky.social !
- Why are flakes drifting gently from the sky? Haven’t we enough snow? The roofs haven’t shed their load and the city hasn’t cleared the sidewalks yet. Hopefully these flakes are as light and airy as the snow sticking around from the storm over a week ago. #SnowTO

- I prematurely thought yesterday no readings for Monday's class on the foundations of Zoroastrianism. Ha!! Three readings and a documentary. 🫣😣 I'll have to write my post on yesterday's class in 20 minutes otherwise my energy will be toast. #BrainInjury #fatigue shireenjeejeebhoy.substack.com

- Interesting. After I had brain biofeedback for my #BrainInjury and using @mindaliveinc.bsky.social audiovisual entrainment daily, my asthma went away. Triggers no longer triggered. These neurostimulations reduce inflammation & microglia activity. This👇may explain why beneficial asthma side effect!
- Updated two of my book pages with their award winner stickers. A good task to have! The Soul's Awakening which won the 2025 Word Award for General Market-Speculative Fiction. And Brain Injury, Trauma, and Grief which won 2025 Writer's Digest for Prescriptive/Informative. #books #SFF #BrainInjury
- After today's class on Zoroastrianism, I suddenly understand why my great-grandmother on my grandmother's side didn't have a surname. In early 1900s, the British decreed Parsis had to have surnames, and they took the names of the towns they were living in or the jobs they were doing.
