- Holy shit this is awful. My stepmom had to take her anti-rejection meds absolutely meticulously every 12 hours. My understanding is that they've improved a lot since her regimen was established, but those aren't meds you can survive without. Withholding them is the same as choosing to murder them.

- I find it fascinating that many people I've encountered lately seem to feel about this time of year the way I do about late November into December. Talk of hibernation & how miserable it is. And for me, it's so much better! The days are noticeably longer! It's cold but spring is coming! We made it!

If someone is in a room and has measles and then leaves that room and you enter that room within TWO HOURS (depending on humidity) you can get measles. And people are contagious for four days before the rash appears.

I hate to think about what is being unleashed by this virus as a future tragedy.
