- I’m really a baritone, but my low range is better than the high. I’ve sung B2, B1, & T2. I love B2, and I lose my voice singing T2 (yes, because my technique sucks, got it thx). I’ll always get B1, because nobody wants it and I can do it. (Mediocre but pretty accurate voice.) We all do our parts.
- I have been the worst guy in some pretty great choirs, and I am happy to have been along for the ride. I’m also happy to grab an oar and row hard just because boat trips are cool and we all get to go together.

- This is “is a hot dog a sandwich” level glorious philosophy. We evolved to walk upright and have typeable thumbs to tackle this question. (To my new professor friends: I have very strong opinions about Dames & Moore and IEEPA too, but, you know, the whole “retaliate against advocates” thing.)

- Also, I’d like to ask all the recent DOJ Civil Rights 2nd Amendment hires exactly which rights they’re defending and for whom, and why their hard-on for Kyle Rittenhouse (who broke kind of a lot of laws on the books and of common sense) has suddenly gone soft.
- People I hired straight out of law school - meaning I was already a damn partner - are on third careers with kids in college and I am not fully ok at least they’re doing great

Functionalism is irrelevant. Step 2 - Functionalism requires you, a sensible legal movement, to create exceptions to the formal logic of Step 1.
