- One simple question I want every organization, especially governments, to answer. Why are you so quick to rely solely on e-mail for billing and critical communications? Because nearly every citizen is using a free e-mail service provided by a foreign corporation. Think about that.
- Critical communication that exists solely as a goodwill gesture from profit seeking corporate enterprises. Is it really that smart to give those companies that much leverage? It's literally a hostage situation now. "Give us business or your customers stop receiving tax notices through email."
- Agreed it is wrong to reply on 'free' e-mail from a foreigh corporation, but it is inaccurate to call describe its existence a 'goodwill gesture'. Providing e-mail for 'free' has always been a calculated marketing move aimed to harvest personal data, and sell other services.
