- A gift from one of my D&D party members - I’m both excited and slightly terrified to use it
- I dunno who needs to hear this right now, but lady friendships with other women when you both have unlearned patriarchy are 100/10 the best thing in the world. Friendships where you cheer each other on instead of competing, and root for each other's growth and successes constantly. Pure Bliss.
- Welp, I guess the Eglinton Crosstown IS going to start running after hell freezes over, judging by how the other TTC trains are looking this week.

- Is this photo from 2026 or 2016? Take your best guess!
- Gotta love how ADHD meds are basically "take your microdose of speed so your brain can slow down and actually function"
- Yesterday’s office. Pretty sure this is a new record for myself as an actor - booking a gig eight days into the new year.
- Yuuuuuup 😈💥 (see: my tiefling character in our current D&D campaign)
- Y'all. I have just heard of something called Sword Yoga and I have never wanted to try a sport more in my life.

- Wishing all my friends a 2026 full of peace, joy, creativity, love, and abundance ✨💕
- Bye 2025. 🍑
- Merry merry y’all! 💕✨🎄
- Thanks to UWaterloo for the interview and profile! #filmsky uwaterloo.ca/communicatio...
- Learning that Heated Rivalry apparently started as Stucky fanfiction sure does add a whole new layer of nuance. Weirdly, this also takes me back to watching Queer As Folk in its original 90s run.

- Ontario pals - give me your suggestions for where to find the best glowy holiday lights!
- We love to see Kristin Stewart calling out Hollywood for what it is. But let's go one step further: Hollywood doesn't just hate women, it also actively profits from women hating themselves.

- I'm honestly a little jealous of all the cities in Ontario that got real snow this weekened. Toronto is still fully naked. Send me photos of your snow?

- And now funders and networks want shareholder value on shoestring budgets.
- One of the things I am loving most about Pluribus is how Carol’s cynicism is (likely) what protected her from being assimilated - but also what impacts her personal relationships. I am here for more shows about feral middle-aged women.
- It’s pretty clear that this is for AI data centres. How many backroom deals have Ford and his cronies made?
- “You’ll be visited by three spirits.”

- Thanks to BoldJourney for inviting me to yap about my work as an actor and filmmaker: boldjourney.com/meet-emily-s...
- One of the worst superpowers I seem to have is being the human equivalent of a drug-sniffing dog - specifically when it comes to uncovering predatory narcissists. It’s nice to see some of the awful people I called out over a decade ago finally starting to catch consequences but it is long overdue.
- Post a female character you love

- Things that would be way more sus if I didn't work in the arts: the sheer number of zip ties around my apartment.

- Hey fellow performers! What's cheaper and more effective - Meisner training or traditional therapy? (Sorry not sorry for this niche actor joke)
- Bravo @realgdt.bsky.social on Frankenstein 💕 Every frame was a painting.

- Regardless of what happens with the Epstein files - believe survivors. That’s it. Send post.
- Women who actively villainize other women so that they can gain favour with men are a special level of some combination of naive, narcissistic, or intentionally malignant. It's not normal and it's not healthy - to say the least.
