- Been thinking a lot recently about this. I agree. I also wish companies understood that paying writers on time would lead to BETTER work from us. More relaxed, more valued, less stressed, less scrabbling around having to take on other work because we don't know when the money's coming through.

- Attended an excellent pitch doc workshop with @annaruthjordan.bsky.social this week. One unexpected side-effect (unrelated to pitching) is that one of the exercises Anna had us do has led to a key breakthrough in the writing of a current project. Nice!
