- F1 is one of the most visually appealing films of the summer, and solidifies Joesph Kosinski as one of most innovative directors we have. Sadly, the film’s visual appeal is hampered by a paint by numbers, been there done that story that we have seen many times over. Full review on BC next week.

- Despite a misleading title, Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning is a tense, fun time. Way, way too long, & the leftover villains from the last one are uninteresting, but the action sequences are breathtaking. This should be the end of Ethan Hunt’s story. #MissionImpossible

- Here is my big summer movie preview! I’m so happy and honored I get to do this every year.
- Reposted by Jeremy KonradThis morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.
- #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld would have felt right at home in Phase One/Two, in both good and bad ways. Feels very Winter Soldier-like. Mackie is good, action is fun. A solid Marvel movie that nitpickers will have a field day on. Just set all that aside and have a good time.

- Unfortunately, Heart Eyes is atrociously bad. Besides yet another charming performance from Mason Gooding, there is nothing else to hold your attention. Boring, soulless, and unfunny. A slasher to skip and forget. #HeartEyesMovie

- To me, A Complete Unknown is the perfect actor portraying an icon in the wrong era. The first half is sensational, but when Dylan goes electric, the film dies. Chalamet is superb, the whole cast really. Would have liked a less explored era portrayed instead. #ACompleteUnknown
