Cannot mention one without the other, so Hollow Knight: Silksong is next!
A perfect sequel in all regards. Everything I love about HK, I love here too. I love that it kept me on my toes just like the original game HAHA
"I wish I could forget about HK to play it again" it's Silksong. that's Silksong
I often say Rain World is the type of game you either love or hate and I LOVE IT SO MUCH
Like. I love HK for the exploration and this game is just that but you don't get any new abilities, just new knowledge. so peak. the enemy AI too??? the lore??? my beloved. you're so dear to me
Oneshot changed my brain chemistry so bad. To the point I don't want to ever replay it because it just would make the experience worse. It is the kind of game you only play once
Amazing characters, amazing concept. Niko is so dear to me
PLAY BUG FABLES !!!!
it's so so so fun. The writing of the characters and the worldbuilding is genuinely SO COOL. This main character trio is just the best, they're genuinely my favorite trio of all fiction, their interactions and their dynamics!! mwah chefs kiss
I love Ace Attorney in general (I might mention it later here again), but TGAA are my favorite. Awesome characters (Susato and Sholmes <3), incredible plot twists, and I love that since the games were made together you get to have an overarching story, which is something AA usually lacks
It's SO fun to play Don't Starve Together with your friends. I like how ruthless the game can be and how complex some of the mechanics are! The art style and all the implied story are superb as well. I'm a main Wortox btw
Spiritfarer is SO special to me, I love the themes this game dwells in and it does so masterfully. Though I don't blame anyone who can't stomach it
I have my issues with the ending and how a lot of the lore is just in art books... but it has a special place in my heart nonetheless
I mean, we only know half of it so far, but from what we've played, Deltarune is shaping up to be one of my favorites as well. I really like the narrative it's setting up and I'm so excited to see where we go from here. Toby Fox's humor and writing are just top notch
I can't mention my favorite games without talking about Flight Rising, that I've consistently played for over 10 years now!
What can I say, I love dragons! And I think it has fun designs and fun gameplay loop. My username there is Dezzle btw
Also I cannot be forgetting the only game I have 2000h in, that I used to play competitive, and that I bonded with my gf over
I do think it's just objectively worse than Spl3, but there's something special about Splatoon 2 that I can't quite put into words... Probably just my good memories w/ it
Not too far behind, Splatoon 3 still has over 1k hours in it‼️
I like all the QoL on this game, the new character customization options, and the fact that Cometz Octo exists now
I just didn't vibe with this game's comp for some reason :( but it's still fun to queue at times, I do miss my Spl2 Jr...
Ok that's 12 for now, I'll continue once I'm back from my class
I have very fond memories of playing a lot of Pokémon Sapphire. Has it surpassed the test of time? not quite, but it's a game I hold very dear to my heart. Hoenn (alongside Unova) has my favorite dex :D and I've played multiple nuzlockes on it
Pokémon Black is another that I really loved (because I like Unova's dex a bunch too) and because it actually felt difficult for a change. Black/White 2 are also pretty good but I do have a soft spot for the original
It's hard to mention games and not talk about the elephant in the room that is Minecraft!! I've spent sooo many months playing this game. Unfortunate that I don't have the hours. I've been back to it now that I have a great computer to start my speedrunning journey that I've wanted since 2021
Cult of the Lamb has an immaculate art style, very fun gameplay, and I really like the mix of game styles they went with. Not personally a sucker for this specific type of edgy religious aesthetic/art direction, but I can appreciate a great job when I see one!
Katana Zero has an amazing story held by incredible dialogue UI with an awesome explanation as to why some game mechanics happen. And that one time you play as another character is soooo fucking cool holy shit. I'm excited to replay it for the eventual dlc
Holy shit what can I say about Breath of the Wild that hasn't been said a thousand times already. Immaculate. A classic. You guys can see how I really like exploration games so I had a damn field trip with this one
I know this one is a bit more controversial than BOTW but to me it felt like a good sequel. I love the original mechanics and re-exploring Hyrule after a bit of a timeskip and after a new problem is present is so fire. One of my favorite game troupes, shoutout to Rain World and Silksong
I play Cookie Run Kingdom loyally since late 2021, I'm not a fan of gachas but I like that in CRK the gachas are VERY f2p friendly. I am 100% f2p and I'm consistently in good ranks on pvp and my guild! I LOVE the story, the art direction, the characters, the voice acting. Gameplay is ass tho
I have always been a fan but not player of Spyro because when I was a kid I loved dragons but didn't have a console, so when I saw they got a remaster for Switch I was so happy!! I ended up not liking the gameplay but the art direction is GORGEOUSSS this game has SO MUCH passion poured into it
Jan 29, 2026 00:44World of Warcraft has a VERY soft spot for me despite all the. blizzardisms. because when I was very young this game was so magic to me. I'd make a thousand accounts and get them to lvl 20 cuz I couldn't buy the game HAHAH I did actually play for some time back in Legion/BFA. Worgen main 👋
I used to be an admin of a fairly big School of Dragons facebook page when I was a young teen HAHAHA oh this game was so magical to me too when I was a kid. To have your own HTTYD dragon and fly around with it and meet up your friends and find glitches... so cool...
Slime Rancher is such a great popcorn game and I loved it. Yay exploration!! Yay cute slimes that go woohoo when you drop em!! Yay managing the stock market!! And then you have Beatrix and Casey being such a compelling plot (and the parallel that comes with it, no spoilers)
Haven't played 2 yet
GO PLAY ZATO it's free and it's such an intricate story, I really love how Ferry writes her characters (shoutout to PAFL). Go play it blind. It's an awesome VN and much worth your time
NITW is the type of game that I only played once, loved the art style, but I was way too young to resonate with the plot and understand the narrative themes properly. Gotta give it a replay sometime soon...
