- New sweater. Christmas Belle by Isabell Kramer. Yarn is Fjallalopi in Currant and Summer Yellow. The pattern is an A+. The yarn? Not so much. The roughness did not make for an enjoyable knitting experience. Would not use it again. But it's done and I will wear the hell out of it. 😀 #knitting 🧶
- Knitting with this Istex Lopi yarn is ..... not a good experience. The colors are lovely and that's all I can say that is positive. It's like knitting with twine that sheds everywhere. The guard hairs make it stick on the needles akin to mohair. AND I'm using it for a fingering weight sweater. 🙃

- Whew. HARD pass on that heel. It's fiddly and once the yarn splits? You're doomed. Ripped back and sticking with what works for me -- a flap and gusset.

- Neighbors are having a party and the street is so jammed with vehicles it looks like a car dealer's lot. Every vehicle is an SUV and is either white or black with one exception -- a red compact in the mass of creepy sameness. 🚗 It's sorta disturbing and a real metaphor for .... Something.
