- Reposted by Anne KeitelJoin us for the first symposium of the OPM-MEG Action Scotland (OMEGAS) initiative - www.dundee.ac.uk/omegas, to take place at the University of Dundee, *9-10 Dec*, and funded by the Quantum ARC quantum-tech-alliance.co.uk #neuroskyence #meg #opm /1
- Reposted by Anne KeitelUndoubtedly the most massive group effort I was ever lucky to be involved in. Led by the ever-unwavering @annekeitel.bsky.social, this preprint synthesizes the status quo of what we (don't) know about neural oscillations. Grateful to be part of the @scone-neuro.bsky.social network. #neuroskyence
- Our oscillations consensus paper is finally out as a preprint 🤩 thanks to everyone involved arxiv.org/abs/2507.15639

- /1 We took our sweet time (~3yrs) to put this into its final shape - but happy to say that the pre-print of an extensive review of brain rhythms in cognition - from a cognruro perspective - is now available. Please let us know what you think. #neuroskyence doi.org/10.48550/arX...
- Reposted by Anne Keitel@scone-neuro.bsky.social has a great review coming soon led by @annekeitel.bsky.social. We summarize major oscillatory mechanisms and discuss open questions across a range of subfields in cog neuro. The preprint should be out soon.
- Reposted by Anne KeitelThis letter to Douglas Ross is how staff find out which areas may face module reductions and that 700 people may be affected by the cuts! - Reposted by Anne KeitelKudos to @karlinave.bsky.social and team for seeing this through. Huge replication effort with 13 labs and N = 152. Does the original result hold up? #neuroskyence #PsychSciSky #EEG
- It's got a boring title but this preprint is being submitted for Stage 2 consideration at AMPPS, and is in fact very exciting! Karli Nave led a group of labs that replicated an influential EEG study on auditory beat perception by Nozaradan et al. (2011). We found: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
- We have reached 300 participants in our population study! ✨ Read more about this milestone here: brainwaves4hearing.wordpress.com/news. Thanks @tanjucka.bsky.social and Rosanne for making this possible 💟

- Reposted by Anne KeitelI'm looking to recruit a PhD student (Oct 2025 start) to work on a project looking at the range of cues that guide accurate sentence comprehension. Unfortunately the funding opportunity is just for students who would pay UK fees. If you know any suitable applicants please tell them to email me.

- Absolutely love this work! ❤️ Check out the fantastic new preprint on links between breathing and pupillometry by @ckeitelsci.bsky.social @danlikesbrains.bsky.social Joachim Gross.
- The link between respiration and arousal is a bit more puzzling than widely assumed, as pointed out in the great review by non-blue Martin Schaefer and others from @odorjohan.bsky.social 's lab. Led by @ckeitelsci.bsky.social, we try to advance things a little with pupillometry. 🧠🟦 🧠🫁
