- [Wearing actual clothing other than her clamshell and jewelry accoutrement, she's walking around and sampling the cuisine of Gotham. However, she's paying with actual ancient gold coins for everything. . . will @gothamshadow.bsky.social investigate the mysterious finned lady?]

- -- @impulsivespeedster.bsky.social Can you run across water?
- [. . . A sigh.] I should have been there, Cirrus, I'm sorry.. But.. if I must be an anchor, I shall. Come here.
- [ In the quiet of his home, @ttranquil.bsky.social 's tub mysteriously begins to fill with sea water? You know it's sea water, due to the smell of sea salt, and that briney scent that comes with the ocean. The knobs on the tub that control the water are set to not be active, so-- what's the deal?]

- [Parting the seas to look for treasure on the seafloor, walking amongst the shells and sand...]
- What's a dough-nut?
- [Yes, but this is more minor than anything. . .]
- [Fins wiggle. Something is happening.]
- LOTUA, THE OCEAN HERSELF. 🐟LITERATE SPIRIT OC, PART OF #𝐀ᴇᴅɪꜰɪᴄ ! 🐟MULTIVESAL / MULTISHIPS WITH CHEM. 🐟N/SFW, MINORS DO NOT INTERACT. 🐟SCRIBBLED BY SHILOH / G.
- (( I JUST HAD TO BLOCK 30 IRLS AND B0TS. WHY ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID. ))
- (( now i eep ))
- [Handshake does feel a little slimy, but she pulls away after a nice time shaking. She's very gentle.] Cirrus is a spirit, like me! One of my good friends. [She looks around, humming.] So, what do the Octonauts do on a day to day basis? If I can ask?
- [She chews thoughtfully, swallowing. . .Looks at the small brick she's afforded herself and nods in approval.]
- Captain Barnacles... What a wonderfully oceanic name! The Octonauts.. I think Cirrus speaks of you fondly? I've been asleep for a while. . . [She smiles, warm and calm.] But, a pleasure. [Extending a tentacle from her back to shake hands?]
- [Almost doe like, she shyly reaches a back tentacle into the container, so articulate enough to only grab one piece... and she brings it to her face. Sniff sniff.] .... [Munch.]
- (( sorry the pfp sucks rn but aeeaeaeeaae
- [Appearing out of a puddle, which now reeks of sea water now. . .] (💭Corned...bread?) [Following him silently.]
- It's a long story, but.. I've been in existence as long as the ocean has been on earth, I came into existence when it did. I've been around for so long, I'm known as a primordial spirit, since I've been around for millions of years. [She tries to explain.] I can also control it and reflect ++
- Well, I was trying to find a certain place, indoors-- [She trails off, eyeing this human carefully. Glass shards inside his body.] ...I'm Lotua. The ocean herself. . . are you-- okay? [Poking at a glass shard stuck in his arm.]
- (( actually what if i stuck w/ my current lotua design, added a few back tentacles and that was it...))
- [ The orb grows into.. a weird looking humanoid. She stretches, and snaps her fingers, more water coming out to cover shell-clad body. The water turns to white cloth, a little seafoam-y dress to cover up.] Forgive me, I do not mean to barge into your place in my usual swimming attire. . ++
- ...Neither? [The woman says, standing on the water, odd feelers brush the ceiling, so she forms the water she's on into steps, and steps down to the floor. She's short!] I-- think I am in the wrong place. [She admits, after a moment of silence.]
- [Feels wet like water, but solid. There's something inside. Like an egg? It begins to warble and shake. Maybe set it down?]
- (( last known lotua design for those who forgot :)
- [She waves to the light, and sighs. How is she going to be an anchor...when she is barely an anchor for herself?]
- [Before he can, the faucet begins to shake, and a stream of salty water comes out, filling the sink quickly. Not even draining. A burbling of water, and then.. a woman begins to rise out of it??]
- [She shrinks down, right in front of his eye, an orb of seawater appearing in the submarine bay, bouncing up and down in the water, like a beach ball. You may need to grab it, Barnacles.]

- Okay. You can count on me, Geon. I'll be the anchor they all need. . . [She clenches her fists, and unclenches them, a shaky, unneeded breath.]
- [The sink in his room begins to drip water, and a salty smell fills the air. . . ]
- [She watches with many eyes as the little figure inside this dome boots up a translator. Soft taps.] 'CAN-- SHRINK DOWN. MEAN NO HARM.' [The ocean embodiment truly doesn't, all the creatures of the seas are her friends, considering they LIVE in her.]
- How-- can I help, Geon? You have to tell me. . . Goodness, you're so cryptic. [A half-hearted attempt at a joke.]
- Yes... But. . . I wish I helped at all. [She says, voice wavering softly.]
- I hope so too. . .
- [And after a few more laps encircling the HQ, a tentacle gently taps on the dome. Morse code? Yes, something like it.] [ 'CAN.... I--COME...IN?' ]
- Well, another coral reef is dead. . . just like most of me at this point.
- ... Did we lose anyone? [She suddenly asks, voice void of any emotion, head tipped up towards the sky.]
- But, I still wish someone should have woke me up. I would have fought for us too. . . But I slept. Like a lump.
- No, no. It needed to be said. [At least, she thinks.] Still, I don't know why I don't hate them. It's-- hard to hate something that lives such a short life.
