- Great experience so far at this year’s FCHS conference in Buffalo! Were even getting some occasional sun, seemingly a rarity in New York State lately
- My review of 'Picturing Russian Empire' is up now on H-War. This was a nice chance to dive back into Russian history with an engaging edited volume encompassing a wide range of visual source analyses. #history

- My university just sent out a survey to faculty about the possibility of using AI tutors on campus. Never have I responded to something so fast in such a negative fashion. Watching administrators and, sadly, some faculty participate in the cannibalization of higher education is profoundly upsetting
