- It has been hard getting back into posting cat pictures. About three months after my dear sister in law died, my best friend died. The grief has been intense.
- Dearest Mömther, I have been very good. May I please have some pâté?

- Every day I have some small reminder of her. Azzie here is being cute and trying to distract me from my sadness
- Today has been a hard day. Feels like I am so lost. Really missing Kathy. Kitties are being sweet. Even Cutie Pie Chihiro came to give me love #catsofbluesky #calicocat
- I couldn’t sleep last night. All the cats wanted to cuddle which was nice
- My sister-in-law Kathy Halvorsen passed away today. I held her hand at the end, sang her songs, spoke of wonderful memories we had. She passed easily. The last song I played for her was The Parting Glass
- My sister in law is still very ill. She has been in and out of the ICU multiple times. Even with all this, I spend time to call my Congressman multiple times a week. Si se puede!
- My sister in law has gotten worse. The doctors say she only has days left to live. I wish I had better news. Sending love to you, my friends. Your best wishes sustain me.
- My SIL has been very ill, in the hospital. I have been driving out multiple times and dealing with her team of doctors. The plan is for her to try and get on the transplant list, and for me to be her caregiver as she recovers. I will try to post here when I can, but it is hard!
- We are calling our elected representatives every day. EVERY DAY. I refuse to go quietly. #resist #blackcat #catsofbluesky
