When you think back to the nomination hearings, every damn nominee has abandoned the assurances they made.
Feb 4, 2026 23:49Who could have ever guessed this would happen?
Every single one. And don’t forget the Democratic senators who on automatic pilot, seemingly, confirmed many of these disgraceful nominees. Like Kaine voting to confirm Noem. Virginians called, screamed, shouted until our two Dem senators woke up.
All those nominees bare-faced lied.
Now we know.
Republicans lie effortlessly and constantly.
Hand picked and coached by the Federalist Society, who learned that lying is imperative after Bork wasn’t confirmed. Fits in with the lie the Society tells when it claims it believes the “state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our constitution.”
Shame on all the Democrats who voted to confirm their nominations.
I hope everyone remembers that in the November elections.
Schumer needs to retire.
This is what happens with gentlemans agreements when one side is operating in bad faith.
If one side decides its a war, its a war whether you want it to be or not.
They flat-out lied under oath. Not a single one should be permitted to hold a job again. Faithless lying perpetrators.
In two words: THEY LIED
As expected.
Misspelled "lies".
It's not spelled "assurances".
The f'n GOP rubber-stampers and the deplorable Dems that helped confirm the excrement cabinet (crapinet?) must be punished
To be fair, we all knew they were lying then.
Let’s call it what it is - perjury
they lied.
the lying liars lied.
“When you think back to the nomination hearings, every damn nominee has abandoned the assurances they made”
Shame on anyone who believed them
