So are modern audiences STILL hung-up on everything being in widescreen?
I was watching the funny vine man, and there's this ongoing thing where the audience really wants him to mod the Ps2 game he'd playing into widescreen.
Which is something I simply don't understand. Like... why?
Why would you not want the game to be played in it's intended format? What could possibly be gained from slightly widening the field of view? What about 4:3 is so unpalatable? Especially in a video game of all mediums, where blocking is non-applicable for the majority of the experience?
