A garden painting with my old green bike, a couple of friends chatting and some of the usual clutter to be seen through the glass of the conservatory. Oil on board. I don't like the white aluminium conservatory so I hung lengths of ivy down it to break up the lines.

This is very lovely. I love this.
It evokes a sense of tranquil contentment. Particularly the natural play of light and shadow enhances the three-dimensionality and vitality of the scene, leaving one feeling utterly refreshed. This is a work that radiates warmth, truly a sight to behold
I want to walk into many of your paintings, starting with this one.
Your garden is very Gertrude Jekyll - lovely.
We long for a front or back yard where nature has taken over, providing nourishment to the soul & the human spirit whenever we or anyone else sees it.
This is where art can act as a broad spectrum vaccine against depression and loneliness and a host of other ills that plague our society these days.
This is wow!
Wonderful, Richard
It's beautiful, Richard! And, I recommend getting some outside, earth tone paint for the white aluminum to make it less offensive. 😉
I love this by the way. It's fabulous.
Some paintings just have ghosts.
And it works! In my opinion.
