- What's most educational is the politically EASY thing to do would be for Trump to say "those people shouldn't have been shot; we're going to ensure our officers are trained so this NEVER happens again" And he'll be off the hook. He doesn't do this because he likes that they were killed.
- We REALLY need to sideline Schumer before the next shutdown. I know everything that is happening in this nightmare of a country at the moment...but Democrats really need to consider this priority #1. He'll cave. He always does. New York needs park benches...and Chuck wants to provide them.
- A LOT of people on here today are saying different versions of "If the entire country goes on strike, THAT will force congress to impeach Trump!" No...it won't. In fact, it won't move the needle a single centimeter. All that will fix this is Dems turning out to vote...and not pouting.

- If you live in: Maine, New York, Washington State, etc. etc. you have NO DAMNED BUSINESS voting for a DHS funding bill that congresspeople from BORDER STATES are voting against. Idiots!
- I've come to believe neither Vance or Rubio are the heir apparent to Trump. I'm increasingly convince it's Kristi Noem. She's the embodiment of EVERYTHING MAGA loves about Trump...and she's straight from Mar A Lago central casting. Rubio and Vance are just every day politicians. Noem is MAGA
- Rant: Everytime something bad happens in this country I'm SICK of my phone blowing up with countless texts saying "Send money!" We have elected officials who are already being paid to deal with this shit. It all feels like such a grift.
