- I had tix to the Marley show at Mershon Auditorium at Ohio State in 1980, a 10-minute walk from my dorm. Two weeks earlier he played in Pittsburgh. He then fell ill and canceled the OSU gig. Pittsburgh was his final show. He died 6 months later.
- Born 6 February 1945, Bib Marley was a Jamaican singer/songwriter who sold 20 million records in his career. He was the first international star to come from Jamaica & is considered one of the forerunners of reggae. Sadly, Marley died of cancer at the tender age of 36. #BobMarley
