- Yup. Newcastle United have endured some unnecessarily snippy, and barely veiled bitterness from this particular outlet over many years, to such an extent I’d long accepted it was deliberate policy. In addition, this author has form for getting under skin. This is well called, however.
- I’m not a fan of much of The Guardian’s football writing (preachy, snobby, snide in equal measure imo) but this piece couldn’t be more on the money and will only be disproven by action - www.theguardian.com/football/202...
