- And here's a carving in Chapel Fields Garden, Norwich of Will Kemp morris dancing his "9 days wonder". Mind you, I'm not sure anyone ever reads my posts as I get so few likes. But it keeps me amused. Hey ho.
- George Borrow (1801-1881) was a travel writer and novelist who walked from Norwich to London in 27 hours for a job interview. The Elizabethan actor Will Kemp claimed to have morris danced from London to Norwich in 9 days saying it was a "nine daies wonder". It actually took him weeks.
