- Happy to say that Humanesis (2013) is now available in a snazzy open access format. I don't think I have it in me to recommend that anyone read something that I first drafted >15 years ago, but I'm glad that if anyone wants to they can do so for free! manifold.umn.edu/projects/cec...

- Very pleased that the new Bitstance album, Frederick, is out! It's weird and wonderful in different ways than Array. Listen on Bandcamp at the link below, or on whatever streaming service you prefer. (Although it may take a day or two to be live on Spotify.) bitstance.bandcamp.com/album/freder...

- Reposted by David CecchettoMy heart ached when I was reminded that Aaron Swartz was prosecuted for trying to make academic knowledge more accessible to the public. Meta, meanwhile, is doing it for their own bottom line. I'm going to guess that no one at Meta will be looking at spending 35 years in jail for this.

- With the many absurd #SCMS2025 rejections today, seems apt to mention the SLSA CFP is out here: litsciarts.org/2024/11/09/s... SLSA interprets its annual themes extremely capaciously, and chooses venues with the aim to accommodate the vast majority of apps—consider repurposing your panels for it!
