- Complete vindication! In 2011 I warned that should Donald get to the White House he would see himself as an all-powerful dictator unconstrained by Constitutional limits on his office. The lead headline in The New York Times today, quoting Donald, shows I got it exactly right.
- Just 230 homicides in the City of Los Angeles last year, down from 1,028 in 1980, when I began investigating the LAPD for the LA Times. What makes the 78% decline even more remarkable is the city population grew by a third to nearly 4 million between those years. The homicide rate declined 83%.
