- We added 2024 election data for CA. Thanks to Josh Metcalf and the team at @votehub.com !!!! Note: privacy precincts were not included, so statewide undercounts Pres by about 15,000 votes total.
- We added a new feature: Restrict Water, which restricts your map by removing most coastal water. It's enabled only for NH, MA, CT, NJ and DE, but more states will be added soon. Access the feature in Map Settings/Restrict To. You can compare such a map to other statewide maps of the same plan type.
- We added 2024 election data for Wisconsin, which we got from the Wisconsin Legislative Technology Services Bureau. Cheers!

- Apologies for the rough rollout of our map surface rendering changes. We fixed a number of issues, but if you still have problems email us at feedback@davesredistricting.org and especially let us know the platform you use. Thanks!
- We added new color schemes as palette choices, from colorbrewer2.org. And we added a new tool (Tools Menu) to automatically change a map's district colors such that no similar colors are touching, using a minimum of colors.
- Yesterday, we also updated the map to use a new drawing layer for shapes & lines. On higher screen resolutions it looks better; & it will reduce browser resource usage & improve map loading & editing latency. But on screens with lower resolution the look is worse 😬, so we backed it out for now.
- Yesterday we added 2024 election data for AL and SC. Thanks to @redistdatahub.bsky.social !!! And we added 2024 pres data for 14 states (AZ, DE, HI, IA, KY, MA, MD, MN, MT, NM, NH, UT, WV and WY). Thanks to @nytimes.com (github.com/nytimes/pres...) !!! Cheers! 😎
- We've added 2022 election data for OK and TN, thanks to UFL Election Lab (election.lab.ufl.edu/precinct-data/ @electproject.bsky.social). The data is restricted and shows only %'s. Cheers! 😀
- We also recently added 2023 MS data, thanks to RDH (redistrictingdatahub.org)! And earlier this month we added a Library Page with a glossary and easy access to all articles and videos! Cheers!
- We have added 2024 election data for Washington State!!! The first 2024 data! 🎉🥳 Our home state is simply the best at publishing quality results and geography quickly! We really appreciate it and wish all states did the same! 😀
- We've been busy over the last month. We added - My Layers to manage custom layers, which you can publish for others - Import custom demographic datasets, which can be set as default Census/Voting Age - Custom formatting for builtin datasets - Elec data: KS 2022 (thx Brian Amos & RDH) & CA 2022 😎
