Software engineer near Seattle. INFJ. Francophile. Love my wife, stepkiddos, dogs, pineapple on pizza, retro gaming, learning new things. If you're MAGA the door's over there. 👉
- Milestone: installed my iOS app on my wife's phone a bit ago, she successfully "captured" our German Shepherd. I'm pleasantly surprised the recognition service worked even with bad lighting. Next up: TestFlight and hopefully App Store soon. 🤞
- Timeline cleanse, Penny and BFF Rainier having a blast on the trail just a bit ago.
- Management: "Shipping this feature is critical." My mind: "No. Stopping ICE from murdering people is critical. Defeating a fascist regime is critical. Preventing oligarchs and AI from transforming our world into a dystopian hellscape is critical." My mouth: "... roger that."
- Oh God no, NOT THE ROYAL LODGE! Did he at least get to keep the monogrammed towels?
- Just noticed that Roku updated their screensaver with a tribute to Catherine O'Hara. Choked me up a bit, not gonna lie.
- Reports suggest Bill Gates caught an STD from one of his Epstein-linked affairs, then tried to slip his meds to Melinda without her knowing. When I combine that with these two pics, I realize how stupid I was to ever think Big Tech was a potential force for good. It's money and depravity over all.
- I might never see a YouTube thumbnail with a headline this bizarre again. We are truly in The Twilight Zone.
- When you have the time for a truly fascinating read, this is straight-up food for the brain — which @carolannie.bsky.social delivers on a regular basis.
- Good to see France had the guts to raid Musk offices, but before anyone gets too excited let's remember that Mar-a-Lago was raided too. No meaningful accountability came from it.
- Okay, I might have to mute "molt*" for the time being. Why would I care about bots interacting on a platform? I barely care about humans interacting on a platform.

- The high school walkout had a bigger-than-expected turnout — in steady rain no less. Might not seem like a huge crowd but this is a comparatively small town. I'm so proud of these kids... gives me a glimmer of hope.
- There's a walkout planned today at the high school around the corner. The principal was in full damage-control mode over the weekend, firing off emails with not-so-subtle hints about "unexcused absences". To hell with that. Good for the kids who choose not to have an "absence" of conscience. 1/2
