- This guy has logic and critical thinking in his bio and becomes really huffy and mutey when people push back on his smooth-brained hot take regarding citizens owning body armor. He thinks only the government and cops should have it. Wildly disingenuous. Extremely tiresome.

- The argument that body armor is only needed if you expect cops or the military to be shooting at you is the strongest argument for its private ownership. Especially in a politically polarized climate where fears of state overreach and fascism have been front-and-center for nearly a decade. So dumb.
- For the last ten years, a significant portion of the population, often including the very "liberals" this perspective might claim to champion, has lived in fear of a president "going full fascist." ICE has been weaponized, black-bagging people in the street, and recently, started shooting people.
- The law-abiding, including high-risk ppl like convenience store clerks, minorities, or paramedics, have a legitimate fear of being caught in the crossfire of riots, violent crime, or active shooter situations. Armor is a valid tool for increasing survival in these random, unpredictable events.
- Britbongers are so angry about being told that not being allowed to carry ANY self defense tools is bad that they contort their brains to talk about how it's somehow preferable to be victimized! Or that folks in the us don't know about other countries! (Lol what?) The cope is *chefs kiss*
- Help me understand how someone can believe a person who is stabbed, raped, brutally beaten, etc. is morally superior to one who holds a smoking barrel in trembling hands with a dead assailant at their feet. Is your life and the lives around you not worth protecting? How can one be so weak?
- Anyone who is trying to equate Kimmel having his show cancelled by using the "Kimmel was the moderate position" meme is an irredeemable restart. Kirk was assassinated. Jimmy'll get another show or go solo like Tucker or Stewart, but most likely as Olberman: shrieking into the void and irrelevant.
