i think an important thing to remember about neil gaiman as he tries to crawl his way back is that he's not just a serial rapist – not that that's insufficiently evil – but a human trafficker. he and amanda palmer essentially kept victims of his as indentured slaves
Feb 4, 2026 17:18i feel like this is understated in a lot of the discussions of gaiman and his crimes as we are often more willing to recognize sexual abuse than we are to recognize labor abuse (and we are Not eager to recognize sexual abuse)
unsurprisingly, gaiman himself doesn't even address the trafficking allegations in his weird statement. he believes that no one really cares that much about rich white people keeping employees in bondage
anyway, hopefully he kills himself
