The Kennedy Center is losing performers and money since Trump slapped his name on it.
A lot of people think Trump’s shutting it down out of embarrassment.
He’s going to make the Kennedy Center tacky, like he did the WH and turn it into the Trump Center?
Feb 2, 2026 14:32We saw reports and posts of him picking out marble for the center for remodeling. Absolutely this is not closing for just low sales or canceled artists. He’s turning our government institutions into his own kingdom.
Next step is to decide it can't be renovated, so he'll just tear it down to build a new center. Then the Kennedy name will disappear from the new building with the "justification" that it's no longer a memorial to JFK.

So Grenell gets paid for 2 years to do nothing.

Running it like one of his own defunct companies!
There will be so much gold and marble that it will make the movie palaces of the early 1900's look like shacks.
