- As soon as I hit “post” I realized I’m being so hard on TMNT because of how poorly designed the Spider-man set was, and TMNT had the misfortune of being teased right after. I’ll still probably be turning my Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy deck back into a Katilda and Lier deck.
- I don’t know what it is about this set in particular that makes Universes Beyond feel like a bridge too far. And I like TMNT! Up til now I’ve been a UB defender, but this set has me thinking of ways to remake my UB Commander decks so my MtG shelf looks like less “slop.”

- Man there’s some noticeable daylight between the best episodes of “Andor” and the worst episodes of “Andor” but there’s fucking light years between the worst episodes of “Andor” and the worst Star Wars movies.

- A lot of my favorite Star Wars characters (Grievous, Saw, Dooku, Cobb, etc) seem like they’re Glup Shitto-adjacent minor characters I intentionally selected to make me seem like a deep-cut-enjoyer fan, but then there’s also, like…Chewbacca.
