- 31.01 #Libya #Niger Video posted by an armed group of its takeover of the Al-Tum border post, between Libya and Niger. The situation has apparently bee escalating along the border following accusations that militias loyal to Khalifa Haftar are exploiting local populations & stealing resources.

- Video of militia affiliated with Saddam Haftar deliberately running over women & children in southern Libya in retaliation against the local populations protest against the abuses, illegal taxes and theft.
- Mohamed Baraka Wardkou, head of the Southern Operations Chamber appeared in a video after 03 soldiers were killed & several others captured at the border post representing the interests of the Toubou, Tuareg, Ouled Souleimane, and Mahamid communities on the border.

- According to the conflict tracking account WAMAPS on X, there were 77 terrorist attacks in January in the Sahel AES nations & Nigeria. Burkina Faso, 32 attacks claimed by JNIM Mali, 28 attacks - 26 by JNIM / 2 by ISSP Niger, 10 attacks - 5 JNIM / 5 ISSP Nigeria 7 attacks - 6 ISWAP / 1 Boko Haram
- #Mali Dozo Militia in the Bandiagara area of Dogon country, appealing for help from the Security Forces & Russians. They state that Islamic militants have surrounded their positions, hence this call for help.
- 02.02 #Mali Security sources have told Agence France Press that at least 15 drivers were murdered during a JNIM attack on a fuel convoy between Diboli, on the border of Senegal & Kayes. Close to 50 fuel tankers were destroyed.
- 02.02 #BurkinaFaso JNIM claimed responsibility for carrying out IED attacks against 02 Security Forces vehicles between Dyarakorosso and Noumoukiedougou in southwest Burkina Faso near the Ivorian border.
- 02.02 #Niger At Least 03 members of the Security Forces have been killed in an attack attributed to IS-SP on the National Guard Camp in Ayorou. The militants later fled taking 03 vehicles equipped with 12.7mm heavy machine guns along with other weapons and ammunition.
