The Eyelash Pit Viper (Bothriechis schlegelii) is an incredible species of snake found in parts of Central and South America. These smaller vipers are arboreal (live in trees) and are ambush predators. They get their name "Eyelash" because of the scales that can be found above their eyes. #herps
