- From DC HSEMA: DC is under an Extreme Cold Alert until 7 AM tomorrow, 1/25. Temperatures will reach dangerous lows with snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Stay inside if possible, look out for neighbors in need, and find shelter and other assistance at: cold.dc.gov
- From DC DHS: Temperatures are dropping to dangerous lows, and heavy snow is on the way. There is shelter space for anyone who needs it, and the District is asking everyone to come inside. Call the Shelter Hotline to request free transportation to a DC shelter: 202-399-7093 or 311.

- I was saddened to learn of the passing of Mathew McCollough, Director of the Office of Disability Rights. He was widely respected for his expertise, leadership, and commitment to public service. My condolences to his loved ones and colleagues. May his memory be a blessing.
