- I can’t believe I never even considered using my 3D printer as a proofing oven.

- The best piece of software Microsoft has made in the last fifteen years is 3D Builder… and of course they gave up on it as soon as it was released. You can still use it today, thankfully, because it’s so incredibly easy for anyone new to 3D CAD.
- The temp has dropped to 0°F here. The forecast says we won’t get back above zero for the next 96 hours.
- They could have put more effort into the illustrations on this bag of tater tots. Those are clearly french fries.
- Are there any projects or kits out there to convert an old Macintosh 128/512/Plus mouse (M0100) to optical?
- Is there a German word for the feeling of shame you get after realizing you just wasted over an hour watching your 3D printer doing its thing?

- I will always be amused by how much toilet tank flappers look like starships.
- The Bambu Lab logo looks like someone tried printing the old Oldsmobile logo but their printer had a layer shift halfway through...
- Only 8 months until #VCFMW Who else is planning on going this year?

- You know that weird thing you do when you’re driving and your mind wanders to something unpleasant so you change the station on the radio? Strange, isn’t it?
- No cheating. Reskeet the most recent picture of your pet(s).
- Time to get rid of my extra 3D printers. If you know anyone in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area who’d like a good deal on a 3D printer (1 is brand new), here are links: minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ele/d/mi... minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ele/d/mi... minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ele/d/mi...

- After 27 hours with this printer, I’m suitably impressed. I got my first 3D printer a little over 12 years ago. I’ve had several different models over the years but this is the first one that “Just Works”. It’s weird to get excellent prints every time without having to tweak every little thing.
- Happy New Year to all my #VintageComputing / #RetroComputing friends!
- Merry Christmas to me. This has been an adventure. First, I went to get it at Microcenter but it wouldn’t fit in my car. Had to go back home to switch vehicles. Then I had to get it into the house by myself. It weighs 46.2 kg (~102 lbs). It’s all assembled now and running its initial calibration.
- The picture looks like it was taken with a potato but I’m happy that I was able to meet Stewart Cheifet 7 years ago. I’m saddened to hear that he has left us. He was a true champion of computing’s golden era.
- Managed to get a New Old Stock Sony Discman. Similar to my first CD player except this one has the radio tuner. Currently rocking out to Tulllycraft.
- What would be an appropriate wine pairing for Utz peanut butter filled pretzel bites? Asking for a friend.

- Correct me if I'm wrong but, at it's core, Kim Possible is really a story about a teenager struggling to learn the difference between confidence and arrogance.
