- there has got to be a poly sci literature on a correlation between attention span and political beliefs. I think some potential movements get eliminated from the pool of all possible movements simply bc they don’t appeal to people willing to do boring stuff
- If George Owell wrote 1984 where Big Brother was all a bunch of morons, it wouldn't sell. But that seems to be what we really got.
