Morning light filters through the Spanish moss in the canopy of the big cypress bayou. These southern swamps have become a very special place to me as I’ve returned here every autumn for the last 6 years. I think I’ll start sharing more from the floating forests and the haunting beauty that is holds

I appreciate that. It was a fleeting moment in the morning. I’ve gone back to this exact spot each year and it’s never looked this good as when I took this image. Either the water level is much lower or there’s a lot of junk in the water. Makes this shot even more special to me
