- Hi everyone. Back after finishing the final rites by putting my dad’s ashes in the Yamuna river. Then 5 days of prayers and charity. It’s been a month already and things are so quiet at home now.

- At approximately 10:30 am this morning, my father passed away a few weeks shy of 87. I fell a great sense of sorrow and relief. Relieved that he is no longer suffering from the pain of Parkinson’s disease. Om Shanti is what we say in Hinduism. 🕉️
- Good Evening from the hospital. I am sitting next to my dad and speaking to him although he can’t hear me since he is likely in his final stages. This is hard. We’ve had a tough relationship and God knows we’ve been angry with each other but my tears are flowing. Give me strength.
- I haven’t been around. Life has gotten in the way. Today my dad (86 yo) with Parkinson’s chocked on his lunch and stopped breathing. I tried to get him breathing but no luck. EMS came in and intubated him even m though he is DNR/DNI because I didn’t have the papers.

- He is now in the hospital off the ventilator. We are waiting for nature to take its course. Life has continued to be a challenge but we take it as it comes.
