Unit sizes range from studios to 3 bdrms. Includes: park, plaza, sports courts, amphitheater, retail.
- Deeply disappointed in MD SHA - only marginal improvements to Blue Line’s Central Av/MD 214 planned. Excessive high speed 6 lanes of traffic remain when could be 4 lanes. Seems serious walk safety improvements were avoided due to concern about cost. Low cost tactics like paint not considered.
- Legalize alley lots in DC! Send a letter COB 1/11, testify virtually 1/12! DC has hundreds of alley lots that could be sites for new homes, but regulatory restrictions make it difficult, if not impossible, to build. Support key reforms & demand removal of burdensome parking mandates! bit.ly/4qpJEAA
- MD SHA is holding follow up on MD 214/Central Av. redesigns for a safer, multimodal road along the Blue Line corridor. Come to the workshop at Central HS, 1/13, 5-7 pm. This is exciting - and essential to the future success of the Blue Line Metro stations! bit.ly/4qgVLjF
- Capitol Hts Metro station to get 300+ homes & retail - finally! Deal just announced by Gov Moore & Metro. We’ve been fighting for this kind of walkable place for years! Now we need PGC to adopt Blue Line Sector Plan with rezoning to spark new vitality for whole Central Av Metro corridor.

- I love the leather chicken on U Street.
- Question about the camo - what are the national guard soldiers blending into? And - wouldn’t it be cheaper and less disruptive to expand some business improvement districts to do what they are doing now?
- Goodbye streeteries. We will miss you!

- That's awkward: Prince George's Planning Board lacks quorum b/c Braveboy administration forced out board members. Canceled meetings means scheduled reviews and votes on development projects are delayed until new board members are sworn in.
- Show up for better buses in Columbia Hts!
- Tonight! Join DDOT to learn more about the Bus Priority Program and the Columbia Heights Crosstown Bus Priority Project and give feedback. 📍 Mt. Pleasant Library ⏰ Drop by any time between 5:30 and 7:30 pm buspriority.ddot.dc.gov/events/colum...
- So proud to work with Kyle Reeder who brings together the community, funders, small businesses, builders, faith leaders & elected officials to create a better Blue Line Corridor. We are excited to be a part of the Blue Line Corridor Coalition which launched today.
- Funny sight from the bus on U St NW.

- We had an inspiring tour of Rhode Island Trolley Trail in Hyattsville. Thx to PGC CM Wanika Fisher and CM Adams-Stafford for joining us. Also all the local businesses, MDOT and local officials. Rt 1 trail extension and road redesign works! Hoping for more!
- Hoping PGC advances Central Av/Blue Line Sector Plan rezoning around Cap Hts, Addison Rd & Morgan Blvd Metros, & along Central Ave. Fosters TOD, & walkable, connected communities. Draft Blue Line plan hearing date not reset. We'll need to urge support & not backtrack like West Hyattsville Plan.
- Wrong direction for PGC by new admin: proposing "Flagship" zone to remove much review. Intended for NW Stadium, Morgan Metro & 6 flags but includes far flung & large ag sites. Curiously, 10/1 staff report map shows ag land sites (pictured), but didn't @ 10/16 hearing. Flagship zone fuels sprawl.
- So glad to join our friends with WABA in celebrating the good work of Ward 5 Council Member Zachary Parker.
- This Saturday, 10 am: Explore with us how the Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail & Rt 1 redesign is helping to build a stronger, more vibrant community. See how the trail helps support local businesses, strengthens community bonds, and improves accessibility. secure.everyaction.com/JpCoEGWde060...

- Excited about plans for a vibrant, walkable place at Bowie State MARC station. Thx to BSU Pres Breaux, MDOT, District 23 Delegation (Sen Watson, Del Holmes, Taylor & Boafo), & D22 Del Williams. Also great showing by PGC’s Braveboy admin & CM Watson. We hosted a site tour w/ this great partnership.
- Just another day in DC.
- Exciting start to my day as rode in early to go by Capitol reflecting pool to see a Red Phalarope! Alerted by colleague Carrie Kisicki (on right).
- Reservoir District is a fascinating integration of old & new, public & private. Thx to Matt Bell (Perkins Eastman), Gilles Stucker (DMPED) & Jack Lester (EYA) for guiding our tour.
- What great images! Thanks for joining us!
- PGC rescinds missing middle housing next to West Hyattsville Metro. County was poised to break out of old zoning locking up lots of housing potential at 2 Metro stations. Pushing it back to a study with no timeline. It’s a loss for families want more affordable housing options near transit.
- Right on, Crush!
- Great pavement repurposing! At H St NW and Penn. Everyone was sitting at the tables for lunch. Strikingly the park behind them was pretty much empty.
- Who loves an alley dwelling? We do! DC Zoning Commission is showing them more love too- but not quite enough! Let’s remove burdensome car parking requirements & a few other changes. Check back w/ us for our list of improvements. Hearing is 11/13. Smartergrowth.net app.dcoz.dc.gov/Home/ViewCas...
- Good news: PGC launching a Missing Middle Housing study! It's time to open up better housing options around PGC's 15 Metro stations, Purple Line & MARC stations, inside the beltway and designated centers. Check out Planning's brown bag briefing 9/9. lp.constantcontactpages.com/ev/reg/d6yjjmc
- Here’s a bit of good news: DDOT squared the SE corner of 14th & Euclid St NW. Slows turning vehicles. Makes everyone safer!
- PGC Planning Board Darryl Barnes & Director Hull graciously met with RISE Prince George's activists & LISC friends. We talked about keeping Blue Line Sector Plan TOD rezonings moving forward, expediting Central Av Connector Trail/bridge and a transformed, walk/bike friendly Central Ave.
- Oversized roads and intersections generate unsafe speeds & deadly consequences. MDOT and Prince George's are moving towards reconsidering and starting to redesign overbuilt, high speed roads -- but needs to happen more quickly. It's too late for this tragedy.
- DC's accessory apartments zoning reforms & pilot program positive steps but so much more can be done. dc2050.dc.gov, DC's Comp Plan rewrite should ensure DC offers more homes of all shapes & sizes. Especially in high opportunity & transit accessible places. Join the DC2050 discussion this fall.
