This handsome grifter has had a rough week, but he’s doing better now and is trying to shake me down for snacks. (Just old man dog stuff; I am not looking for suggestions. He’s 13+ and dearly loved, with very good veterinary care.)
Mar 8, 2025 01:26When my last senior dog got to be 12 or 13, she would request dinner again an hour after she ate. Totally new behavior. I always wondered if her cognitive dysfunction was making her forget she had already eaten, or if she was trying to con me out of a second dinner!
