Bovino is literally walking around dressing himself like a Nazi, of course we should look to *his* inspiration for what the fuck he is up to.
Is it his only inspiration? No. It’s a both/and situation.
I don’t think people intend to do this when they say “don’t do the Nazi comparisons” but while there is a homegrown history in the US and a population (which I am a part of) directly impacted by that, there are a lot of families of people impacted by the Holocaust here (also me) and they count
