We are all drowning in a pool of systemic propaganda so I understand why the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti feel esp shocking and I think it is important to do the internal work of asking yourself, if this applies to you, why the deaths of immigrants/Black folks don't shock in the same way
Jan 26, 2026 13:58ICE & CBP have killed several people over the last year and the only names to enter the popular consciousness are the names of the white Americans they have killed. We need to attend to what structures that, both externally & internally.
And the same outraged cops? Defended the killers amongst them
